Legal Cashier

We are looking to recruit a Legal Cashier for an exciting permanent opportunity with a dynamic West End law firm specialising in property law

You will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Posting income money promptly throughout the day - Faster payments, CHAPS, BACS
  • Inputting/posting a variety of financial transactions onto the accounts ledgers
  • Bills and Credit notes
  • Sending CHAPS and BACS payments via online banking

You will have:

•             Excellent written and spoken English

•             Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

•             Degree level education

•             Ability to maintain accuracy whilst working to strict timescales and a good eye for detail

•             Ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team

•             Good computer literacy - Excel, Word and Outlook

•             Good knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping

The firm offers a flexible working policy which requires staff to be in the office 3 days per week and the remaining days can be worked from home. This would be subject to an initial settling in/training period where new recruits are expected to be in the office full time until they are satisfied that they are able to efficiently work from home.

They are also able offer opportunities to the right candidate to study towards ILFM qualifications
